Had 2 appetizers, a lychee strawberry mocktail, and a main dish -- all delicious! For those who are spice sensitive, mild is well seasoned and not hot. As someone of Guyanese descent this food tastes like a hug to my belly! Highly recommend and will be back. The server was sweet as well!

I stumbled upon this restaurant while visiting a friend in the area. We went there for dinner and we enjoyed really amazing food with very reasonable price. The service was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was very vibrant and exotic and the food portions were satisfying. I think either the owner or the manager personally came to our table and asked whether everything was satisfactory and according to our liking. They seem to really care about customer satisfaction which is rare these days in restaurants in my experience. Overall i was extremely pleased with food, service and overall ambiance of this place

Had a fantastic experience at Moksha Eats, where the flavors truly reflect the heart of authentic Nepali cuisine. The Veg Thali was a well-balanced plate—each item felt homemade, with comforting spices and a soulful taste that reminded me of traditional Nepali home cooking. The Thukpa was warm, flavorful, and packed with fresh veggies, making it the perfect bowl of comfort. The real star of the meal was the Pan-Fried Chilli Momos—crispy edges, tender filling, and a spicy, tangy chili sauce that hit all the right notes. They were easily some of the best momos I’ve had outside of Nepal. If you’re craving authentic Nepali flavors with a touch of warmth and care in every bite, Moksha Eats is a must-visit.

We were traveling from Maryland to New Jersey and stumbled upon Moksha Eats—and what an amazing find! My wife discovered it on Google, and we decided to stop by on a Sunday afternoon. They were serving their weekend brunch as well, which turned out to be perfect for both kids and adults. The food was absolutely delicious—authentic, flavorful, and clearly made with care. The hospitality was warm and welcoming, and the atmosphere felt just right: cozy, clean, and family-friendly. It’s not easy finding a place that checks all the boxes, but Moksha Eats did just that. Our family had a fantastic time, and we’ll definitely be coming back whenever we’re in the area. Highly recommend it to anyone craving genuine Nepalese or Indian cuisine!

I’m a tattoo artist and I have traveled all over the globe. I’ve even worked in India in New Delhi, and several other places, and I’ve eaten Indian food all over the world and about a month ago this place opened up right by my tattoo studio Forever Ink Tattoo, and I know that people in India must be crying because these guys are not there making their food. When I tell you, this is some of the best Indian food I’ve ever had in my life. I say that with no BS. I am also a classically trained chef so I know what I am talking about when it comes to preparing food and delicious meals. I studied Indian cooking in New Delhi and I am so happy to have eaten at this place. I’ve probably eaten there paneer Assorted dishes twice in a week. There is a huge amount of Indian restaurants in Edison, New Jersey and this one’s in South Plainfield, New Jersey and I won’t eat Indian food anywhere else. Thank you guys for great food and great service.

What a treat to discover this unique Nepali/Indian restaurant in South Plainfield! I just returned from a tour in Nepal, so I was anxious to have Nepalese food again. Such excellent flavors. Sel-roti, vegetarian momos dumplings, paneer pakora, palak paneer, and vegetarian thali was all delicious . See photos. Service was quick and wait staff were very friendly and happy to share about their food and culture. Can't wait to return!

I was craving for Authentic Nepali Food and I found Moksha Eats.Thank god I don’t have to travel to New York to try some Nepali food. You can get authentic Nepali food with indian Curry. Machha Taryeko( Nepali style fried Fish) is a must try item in the menu.Food is fresh and Service is outstanding. I am definitely coming back. Thank you for serving such a delicious food.

**Exceptional Cuisine and Service!** If you're looking to experience authentic Nepalese dishes, this is the place to be. I ordered the Bhutan set, which was exquisite. The chili momo and steamed chicken momo were also delightful. While I personally prefer a tomato-based sauce with my momo, which was different from the one offered, everything else—from the delectable food to the impeccable service and charming decor—was superb. I will definitely be returning!
